Due to safety concerns, we do not permit techniques with uncontrolled falling body weight while sparring. This includes jumping guard, flying submissions, standing kani basami (flying leg scissors), tani otoshi (valley drop), etc.
Our open mat is open to non-members and is for experienced grapplers only. Attending open mat does not require a booking, only a participation waiver. Do not try to use our open mat as space to teach your own classes or private lessons—you will be asked to leave.
