🥋 Gi Jiu-Jitsu

Our evening all-levels classes are appropriate for both beginners and advanced students. We follow a broad curriculum with topics that rotate monthly.

These 120 minute classes typically consist of 60 minutes of instruction followed by 60 minutes of sparring (think of this as lecture followed by lab). Members may come or go at any time.

The instruction portion often consists of 10-15 minutes of warm-up (usually movement drills with a partner), followed by about 30-45 minutes of technique instruction (including drilling and specific training, such as games, situational sparring, or positional sparring).

Following the instruction portion of class, the remaining hour is usually dedicated to additional specific training and free sparring.

🤼‍♂️ Zico Da Costa Seminar

🤼‍♂️ Zico Da Costa Seminar

We’ll be hosting a special fundraising seminar by Zico Da Costa, a Braulio Estima black belt and friend of Midnight.

The fundraiser supports Yaung Ni Oo, a grassroots school in a refugee camp on the Burma (Myanmar) border that has provided free education to displaced children since 1989. All funds will go to support internet installation, school supplies, stipends for volunteer teachers, and groceries and living essentials for boarding students.

The suggested donation is $10, but anything helps. We will have a GoFundMe link for you at the gym so that you can donate before, during, or after the seminar.

Come train and support!
